We have had the most incredible week. Swaledale Burrow exceeded all our expectations. It's cosy, warm, well-equipped and those views!!! Thank you so much for the welcome items, it was so appreciated. Yorkshire is truly beautiful and we would love to return.

Thank you so much for the wonderful week. The accommodation is amazing, a wonderful experience to live like a hobbit in luxury! We loved the sound of the sheep muching the grass on the rooftop. The scenery is beautiful and the local waterfalls are a photographers dream (Instagram/Facebook: @Captured_by_Marian for some snaps after the rains!).

Simply amazing accommodation and location. Holiday experience is exactly as described. Great attention to fittings and equipment means you have everything you need. Comfortable and snug stay and the wet weather didn't spoil anything. We enjoyed waking up to the stunning views, sheep for company and the dark skies experience. The information app sent beforehand provided everything we needed to know to make thid a very special holiday. Your hard work in creating this special space is truly inspirational. We will be back soon.

Absolutely loved our stay! Enjoyed it that much, we've booked to come again in July. Pat and Alanhave thought of everything, there isn't anything we needed and didn't have here. Cute, cosy and clean! Fantastic, quirky holiday home, lots of home comforts, everything you need and more. Lovely welcome pack for us and our dog (even milk for a cuppa). We arrived mid storm Babbet, Pat checked our home postcode and advised me of a safer route to travel. Wow!!

We called her a few times to ask for directions and best places to visit while here, she was always polite, helpful and had plenty of time to chat. We learnt lots about the area from her. Thank you!

Wow, what a wonderful place! Everything you could want. Pat and Alan very helpful. So comfy and snug. Amazing sleep in a very comfortable bed. The views and peacefulness very relaxing. Bear loved his stay and felt at home, treats amazing. We enjoyed the fruit loaf and cheese, lovely touch. Attention to detail in the Burrow is amazing. Definitely recommend to family and friends. We will be back. Thank you so much! 5 star, don't want to leave!

Loved the place. Very special. Beautifully designed and well equipped. The view, the beck, the walks from the doorstep, the wildlife (curlews, hedgehogs, barn owls were the highlights in the area). Peace and quiet. Got lucky(ish) with the weather.

Fabulous place, incredibly well-equipped considering it's compact. Loved it! Loved listening to the stream bubbling outside the pod. Hadn't realised it was there when I booked - lovely added bonus! Waking up to the sheep on the roof and pheasants everywhere is magical when you come from city life!

The weekend didn't go according to plan - what with Barry falling on ice in Keld and cracking a rib and storm Isla bringing atrocious weather! BUT we loved the Burrow! So beautifully kitted out, everything you could possible need, lots of thoughtful touches and a great use of the space. Pat and Alan so very kind and welcoming (thank you for the pain relief!). The scenery is beautiful and we will definitely come back soon. So cosy and warm on such a wet weekend. We already have friends asking for details after seeing our photos. This venture will be a roaring success for you!
