What a view to wake up to! A beautiful place, quiet, relaxing, interesting with so much to see and do. The Pod, our Little Hobbit Hole was perfect, everything we need and more. Pat and Alan are super hosts, warm friendly and helpful yet non-intrusive. Thank you for the lovely holiday!

We have had the most incredible week. Swaledale Burrow exceeded all our expectations. It's cosy, warm, well-equipped and those views!!! Thank you so much for the welcome items, it was so appreciated. Yorkshire is truly beautiful and we would love to return.

Thank you so much for the wonderful week. The accommodation is amazing, a wonderful experience to live like a hobbit in luxury! We loved the sound of the sheep muching the grass on the rooftop. The scenery is beautiful and the local waterfalls are a photographers dream (Instagram/Facebook: @Captured_by_Marian for some snaps after the rains!).

Simply amazing accommodation and location. Holiday experience is exactly as described. Great attention to fittings and equipment means you have everything you need. Comfortable and snug stay and the wet weather didn't spoil anything. We enjoyed waking up to the stunning views, sheep for company and the dark skies experience. The information app sent beforehand provided everything we needed to know to make thid a very special holiday. Your hard work in creating this special space is truly inspirational. What an amazing space! There is everything you could possibly need (and more!). Tastefully decorated and thoughtfully designed and prepared. Comfy bed and crisp linen lead to a peaceful sleep. The views are perfect; sitting outside, reading a book and listening to the stream... HEAVEN!

Fantastic, quirky holiday home, lots of home comforts, everything you need and more. Lovely welcome pack for us and our dog (even milk for a cuppa). We arrived mid storm Babbet, Pat checked our home postcode and advised me of a safer route to travel. Wow!!

Loved the place. Very special. Beautifully designed and well equipped. The view, the beck, the walks from the doorstep, the wildlife (curlews, hedgehogs, barn owls were the highlights in the area). Peace and quiet. Got lucky(ish) with the weather.

We very much enjoyed our week in The Burrow and it was great to stay in such a lovely area with such a wonderful view (whatever the weather) and so much to see and do. Although The Burrow looks compact, it felt so spacious as such thought had gone into the layout and use of space. Top class facilities - very comfy and actually we don't want to leave!

Fabulous place, incredibly well-equipped considering it's compact. Loved it! Loved listening to the stream bubbling outside the pod. Hadn't realised it was there when I booked - lovely added bonus! Waking up to the sheep on the roof and pheasants everywhere is magical when you come from city life!

Absolutely stunning burrow! Everything and more that you could have needed! Thank you so much for the welcome pack. The scenery is stunning, especially in the snowy weather! Pat and Alan are fabulous and very welcoming. Loved the sheep and all the pheasants. We shall be definitely be returning. Mollie loved it to bits, she is very happy!

The weekend didn't go according to plan - what with Barry falling on ice in Keld and cracking a rib and storm Isla bringing atrocious weather! BUT we loved the Burrow! So beautifully kitted out, everything you could possible need, lots of thoughtful touches and a great use of the space. Pat and Alan so very kind and welcoming (thank you for the pain relief!). The scenery is beautiful and we will definitely come back soon. So cosy and warm on such a wet weekend. We already have friends asking for details after seeing our photos. This venture will be a roaring success for you!
